Puerto Rico State Payroll

In the Puerto Rico state tax return you will report the income you generated during the year.

This year, among the credits to be claimed are:

• College Credit You receive up to $1,000 for tuition expenses. To qualify for the Pell Grant, you must not have covered the entire amount; you must claim what you paid either with an extension or a loan.
• Credit for work: This will depend on the income generated. People who work and have a W2, Services Provided with Merchant Registration and some retirees who receive a pension in PR qualify.
